Canadian CNC made aluminum axle bashers made for 50mm axles.
The basher is used to help aid the axle when moving through the bearing cassettes as it will follow the axle through, giving you a surface to strike your hammer with when the axle is inside the bearing and out of reach of the hammer.
Once the axle had been pushed through the bearing and through the brake rotor, the basher is long enough to hold the rotor and ensure that it doesnt fall to the ground. This aides with single person axle removals.
In addition the basher helps to prevent mushrooming of the axle face from hammer blows, which can cause the axle to get stuck inside of the bearing.
